As part of its regional development duty, the Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia allocates funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for general development projects that support the implementation of the regional programme and comply with Finland’s structural fund programme. The Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia also has access to a national appropriation allocated to supporting the sustainable growth and vitality of regions (AKKE). Project funding is granted through calls for proposals.
